Renowned Iranian actor Mehran Ahmadi starring in popular Iranian series 'Capital 3' plans to direct a short film.
Ahmadi’s latest film dubbed ‘Respectable Residents’ has started shooting sessions and will soon finish capturing scenes.
The short narrates the story of Samira trying to attain the custody of her son, Kasra.
Born in Tehran in 1973, Ahmadi studied theater and began his cinematic career in 2006 with the movie ‘Adam’.
His performances in movies such as ‘Nothing’, ‘Persisting Dreams’, ‘Thirteen 59’ and ‘Alzheimer’ were positively received by critics and audiences.
The actor has already worked with great directors as assistant director and programmer including Pouran Derakhshandeh, Abdoreza Kahani, Ahmadreza Motamedi, Saman Salour and Rouhollah Hejazi.
